Custom fine art is a great way to add unique elements to your home or space. Lisa works closely with her clients to create beautiful artwork for their spaces that truly reflect the look and feel of their homes. Please read through the process and email with additional questions.
Planning - If you are interested in custom art for your home or space please send Lisa an email with your favorite pieces from her site and archives. Include colors you'd like to see in the piece and a photo of the space where the work will be displayed. All local commissions receive an on-site visit from Lisa to measure the space for sizing, assess the lighting and get an overall feel for the space. Not local to the Milwaukee area? Lisa can video conference or use images taken from the client to help assess the space needs. Once a size, surface (paper or canvas) and color/style options are chosen Lisa will send you an invoice for your custom art. An initial deposit of $200 is required hold your space on Lisa's seasonal commission list, upon completion of the planning process, you'll be required to pay 50% of the total cost of the commission, the final balance is due upon completion and acceptance of the work.
Creating - Once Lisa has reviewed the space, colors and style, the creation process begins. It's 4-6 weeks lead time for the first look at the piece, clients receive 2 rounds of changes, color additions and alterations. Once the client approves the work, the final balance and invoice is sent. Shipping is included in all commissions, local work will be hand delivered by Lisa. Custom framing is offered for all work.
